Our March speaker is Tom Field, Contributing Editor at Sky & Telescope magazine. He is also the author or the RSpec Software (www.rspec-astro.com) and is a popular speaker who has spoken to hundreds of clubs, including ours in 2014! His topic "You can almost touch the stars" deals with the study of spectroscopy and how amateur astronomers can use a telescope and FITS camera (or web camera or DSLR without a telescope) to study the stars.
