The TriState Astronomers is a group of amateur astronomers from the area surrounding Hagerstown, Maryland. Our membership includes amateur astronomers from Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia.
We began in 1985 and we enjoy sharing the ageless wonders of the night sky. If you have ever watched the stars at night and wondered about them, then you might like to join us. We meet on the third Wednesday of the month, September to May, at the William M. Brish Planetarium in Hagerstown, MD. at 7:00 p.m. EST.
We have member star parties nearest the new moon when the sky is dark.
We also have star parties for civic and educational groups, as well as the general public (weather permitting).
Guests are always welcome!
