The Tri-State Astronomers (TSA) and Fort Frederick State Park invite you to an evening of spectacular celestial viewing and meteor watching at Fort Frederick State Park! This event is free and open to all ages.

Time: 4:30 PM until 10:00 PM

View the amazing winter night sky through the powerful telescopes of the TSA! Our members will guide you to incredible targets:
Planetary Giants: See Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune!
Deep Sky Objects: Observe distant galaxies, colorful nebulae, star clusters, and unique asterisms of the Winter sky.
Geminid Meteor Shower Viewing
The Geminid Meteor Shower is one of the year's best, and we are ready for a show!
IMPORTANT: For comfortable meteor viewing, please bring a lounge chair or blanket so you can lie back and watch the meteors streak overhead. Dress warmly in layers to stay comfortable under the December sky.
